Since we are architects in training, we approach the interiors of a project through the lens of totality in design, from the urban footprint all the way down to the level of details within a door knob and window sill. The structural grid of a project dictates many things in the interiors. We believe in the importance of budgeting for a developer, therefore our parking garages are always integrated to the entirety of the project within the boundaries of the main structure of the building. Underground garages are not to be assigned to a different location since it would cause extra excavation costs, create extra walking distances from the vehicle to the vertical circulation volumes and disrupt the possibility of planting large trees in the landscape. Our structural grid facilitates the proper parking spaces and roads within the garage, as well as providing the proper dimensions for rooms within the typical plans of a residential or commercial building program.
