Arikoglu Orchard House

The Orchard House located in Cilicia. With two units; one for a full time staff member and his family, and one for the owner of the orchard and his family, an enclosed parking garage for one car and two tractors, storage spaces for farming related equipment at ground level, public bathrooms and changing rooms for workers, a shared outdoor upper terrace and a private enclosed terrace with a shared wall containing a double sided fireplace (not yet installed), an enclosed guard Dog house under the northern outdoor staircase, and various extra storage spaces. All solved in a relatively small structure. The exterior aesthetics of the building is derived from a complete adherence to the philosophy of “form follows function”.
