The project is comprised of a warehouse and office building for Aytekin-Serol, a constructıon company in Adana. It is located near Incirlik Adana adjoined by industrial buildings through an infill setting. The main idea is to have a unifying courtyard right in the center of the two buildings, which visually divides the warehouse spaces from the office spaces. This main open space works as an experiential node that connects the differently functioning spaces of the project and its use is mandatory when entering from the main entrance to the facilities. The technical offices are located in the ground level and the administrative offices are located on the second level, with an additional third level for meetings and lectures and other social events related to the company. The aesthetics of the façades are composed through the contrast of traditional red brick masonry and exposed concrete, which didactically shows the building’s structural components without any added finishes on its surfaces.
